Velasof Tablet is a combination medicine composed of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir. It is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection. It is an infection caused by a virus that attacks your liver and leads to pain and swelling. Velasof Tablet works by stopping the growth of viruses in your body, thus reducing the infection. This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of hepatitis B infection (serious liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus).Velasof Tablet may cause side effects like chills, headache, irritability, diarrhoea, etc. Most of them are temporary and resolved on their own.
